Writing and Loving

I have been very deeply involved in my novel - sorry I've been absent again.  Between being a mom, a PEA at work with three busy partners, working on my "other" career, trying to have a life, and writing .... I've neglected my blog yet again.

What I am loving about this novel I am writing, I get to channel a bit of me, a bit of other women and men I've loved, into this tapestry. 

I have had a few friends, besides Sailor, take a read ... Thanks Buz and Cadbury!

I am loving that as I go along, I am playing it out like it could be a movie ... In my Word Document, I am including pics, music, etc.  The music is especially poignant.  Some of these songs remind me of my Texan love, time with Wraith, and a time in my life where I felt completely alone and isolated, regardless of being a single mom and working full-time.

Writing ... a place in which I can write like a musician plays.

Loving ... forming me into the artist I am.

Sorry I've neglected you .... life has been crazy!!

But here I am!!

I have started a novel!!  The Working Title "The Space Between".  I have Chapter 1 completed and the bones for Chapters 2 through 7.

My inspiration and editor is Sailor ... He was the one who chatted with me about posing nude.  I just turned it on its side ... and the story has a life of its own!  It feels soooo good.  God, I love it!!

Ahh ... the day for lovers.

The day single people scoff and are irritated.

Ahh ... it's a tough day for sure. 

I'll be spending the evening with my Muse in front of the fire with homemade angel food cake and whipped cream.  :)

Returning

Wow .... I've been away for a bit.  Unfortunately, the real world over loaded my plate with health issues, work, family .... and I had a couple of mini-meltdowns.  :(  All in all, pretty much surprised my hair didn't turn grey or fall out, I am not in a white-straightjacket, nor abandoned by the world.

Times like these make me realize that life does like to keep things interesting and challenging.  Being completely honest, though, I'd prefer a little more calmness and definitely less stress.  :)

I have other pages to update ... and few new poems that link up to Lush.
